Our commitment

As the UK's largest building society, Nationwide is a familiar name on the high street. Our presence around the country means we are close to the communities from which we have grown, enabling us to direct support to where it's needed most.

Our community activities include helping disabled athletes to succeed through Disability Sport Events, safeguarding child pedestrians through our Cats' Eyes for Kids scheme, recognising community volunteers through the Nationwide Community & Heritage Awards, with the Heritage Lottery Fund as our primary partner and our ongoing work with our charity partner Macmillan Cancer Support.

We also support hundreds of events and initiatives across the country each year through other activities, sponsorship, fundraising and the Nationwide Foundation.
