Sustainable Houses - 4 to 11 year olds

Children spend a lot of their lives in their home and at school, so we have developed this 'Sustainable Houses' programme to look at how buildings are constructed, the materials that are used and how we get power to them. We have also looked at the most sustainable way for us to build and use our homes.

Through the first programmes on 'Sustainable Houses' children will learn about the concept of sustainability and how important it is to work together with neighbours and friends to make a difference. In addition to providing you with exciting interactive stories and games, you will also find a word bank and glossary of key words and terminology around sustainable living, some key facts and suggested top tips and activities for you to do with your child.
