Thank you for visiting Nationwide Education! We're an award-winning, free, online and interactive resource developed alongside teachers and education experts. We aim to help you teach key lifeskills for the future through interactive games, films, worksheets, factsheets, story books and quizzes - bringing serious subjects to life.
You will find programmes in the following themes:
All our resources have been designed for use on interactive whiteboards and PCs, including downloadable PDFs. Each programme is linked to the various UK curricula.
The whole site is independent of Nationwide products and services.
We've grouped any resources that are closely related to a particular theme or idea together into a 'Collection'. These collections contain all the different resources which have been developed on a specific theme for a certain age group, so you have everything together in one place. So, collections may contain games, worksheets, videos, teachers' and parents' notes etc. You can also choose to keep your favourite collections or individual resources in a 'My ideas' folder and additionally 'Share' these easily with friends and colleagues.
All the Nationwide Education programmes have been developed in collaboration with teachers, parents and pupils who gave us input and feedback on what they wanted and needed to see within the resources. They link closely to the various UK curricula and will help teachers achieve objectives around subjects as varied as; Maths, English, Citizenship, PSHE, ICT, Geography, History, Science, Design & Technology, Art and PE. Information is provided on exactly how each subject links with the curricula (including the differences for Scotland and Wales).
